The Metropolitan Hotel

Photographed August 2006

Update Via Email Received 11/06:
"It is actually *not* slated for demolition - actually the city of Asbury Park has determined it to be a historical site of interest, and anyone to purchase the building (asking price as of Aug 06: 2.1 mm) must keep its exterior (with exception of the motel added in the 60's, which may be demolished) and it must remain a hotel and cant be used for any other use.

The Property is Currently For Sale* Encompasses Nearly an Entire City Block

Images Below of the Hotel, the Motel Wing (which sits to the right of the Hotel building), and a view from the back side.
