Hi folks, we need to do something NOW about the rising price of gasoline, and it how it computes to runaway CEO Salaries - like a 400 MILLION DOLLAR retirement package for the ExxonMobil CEO --- click the banner, and get the info...and do something.  I for one say we mandate vehicles go to E-85, and our farmers can reap the profits...

Needed: A New President (aka Leader):

Almost any candidate considering a run for office would be an improvement - Hillary Clinton, Rudy Guliani, Howard Dean.  Heck, I would vote for Bill Clinton again.

Stop Buying Cheap Stuff...

Some day in the future, I'll get back to sharing my thoughts on the world we live in - yikes.  Like for instance, why Wal-Mart is not the evil empire many think it is.  I mean, are they the only company to out source jobs to China?  No!  Take my new sofa table - I paid premium price at Wickes Furniture - and what did I get?  The same junk made overseas, it just cost more then if I went to Wal-Mart.  If people want their Mom & Pop grocer, hardware store and pharmacy to stay in business, then stop shopping at the big name stores just because they moved into the neighborhood.  Enough said (for now).

Comcastic My A**...

Oh, and don't ask me about Comcast - I despise the fact that I am "almost" monopolized to be their customer - sure I could get a phone with Qwest (as if that would be any better), get slower Internet service using DSL and get a DISH to watch TV - but for a Cable Modem and Cable TV, Comcast is my ONLY choice - and that makes them a MONOPOLY, not a franchise, as they like to call themselves.  Folks, we need to revolt against big business, or we WILL be left with ONE cable company, ONE bank, ONE discount department store, you get the idea...

Never forget, and never stop questioning.  Our own Government seems incapable of agreeing on all the facts surrounding the events of 9/11/2001.  If the leaders cannot agree, shouldn't we all be worried?  Believe what you want to believe, just have your own beliefs.

Be concerned ... from the issue of TIME Magazine dated 9/11/2006, I quote:

A Scripps-Howard poll of 1,010 adults last month found that 36% of Americans consider it "very likely" or "somewhat likely" that government officials either allowed the attacks to be carried out or carried out the attacks themselves.

For more information, consider one of the most thorough and controversial documentaries examining the facts of 9/11 ...

I am not stating how I feel about the attacks.  I am stating there are widely varying viewpoints.

Regardless of how it happened, my heart goes out to those lost on 9/11/2001.
